Brief:
The 10th International Youth Conference will bring together a group of internationally recognized speakers to the Kingdom to highlight the most important issues of the international community. Bahrain will provide an opportunity to meet and share experiences among the youth in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, through a wide variety of activities like Seminars and workshops.


Objectives:
1. Motivate young people and encourage them to interrelate with the Sustainable Development Goals.
2. To promote the culture of youth work for the future, to meet the direct needs of society without compromising the wealth of future generations.
3. Developing the community by attracting international expertise and active personalities in various fields.
4. To allow participating delegations from around the world to reinforce communication, creativity and cooperation among themselves.



Worlds Largest Lesson

Brief:
The world's largest lesson aims to introduce children and young people everywhere to the sustainable development goals and unites them in action. The global goals aim to eliminate extreme poverty, to reduce inequalities and to combat the threat of climate change by 2030 . The Worlds Largest Lesson is aimed at students aged 13 to 29 in all of Bahrain’s universities and schools. The lesson aims to target 12,000 students, making it the largest lesson in the world, according to Guinness World Records


Objectives:
1. Raising students' awareness of the sustainable development goals.
2. To make students aware about their role towards achieving the global goals.
3. Emphasize on the importance of youth participation in global affairs.

Pecha Kucha

Brief:
It is a Japanese style of speech that is held in about 900 cities around the world. It allows up to 20 slides per presentation and each slide to be displayed for only 20 seconds, not to mention that the speech must be conducted in six minutes and 40 seconds. It allows a large number of presentations in a short time, which contributes to the introduction of various new topics. This particular event gives the participants a chance to research and learn more about their selected goal and present it in a youthful manner.


Objectives:
Encourage young inventors to produce and invent products that help solve some of the obstacles to achieve sustainable development goals.









An Equal Pitch

Brief:
It is a three-days festival that focuses on using Football3 method as a tool to drive social change and provide equal opportunities for everyone to play the beautiful game of football regardless of their age, gender, color or ability.


Objectives:
The overall objective of football3 is to promote key life skills and empower youth to become leaders in their communities. With its strong emphasis on dialogue and conflict resolution, football3 provides both players and mediators with knowledge and life skills such as fair play, gender equality and team work.

Bahrain Universities Model United Nations

Brief:
The program is held for the 14th year in a row, where participants discuss global issues and their visions in a simulation of UN sessions. This is an effective way for young people to endorse these crucial global issues, by allowing them the opportunity to discuss and reflect their findings.


Objectives:
To provide young participants a clear understanding of the nature of work in the United Nations as an international organization and how countries engage in such discussions, paving the way to build a generation that is able to conduct diplomatic work and communicate ideas in an exemplary manner.

Brief:
It is a space for content creation on social networks and a center for media professionals. Where social media influencers create content dedicated to talking about the Sustainable Development Goals, in addition, to involving their followers and provide them the necessary information and coverage of the events held in the festival.

2. Publish multimedia content related to the Sustainable Development Goals on social media.

It is an exhibition for the final outcomes of inventions and production that encourage young inventors to provide scientific initiatives and inventions that will contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The program creates the ideal atmosphere for them to endure creativity in the field of scientific discovery.


Objectives:
Encourage the youth to take part in changing the world by thinking outside the box to innovate and invent products that help to solve some of the obstacles to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.



Your Personal Guide to Saving the World

Brief:
The public will interact personally in an exhibition that includes works of art to convey certain messages. This exhibition will be available for all to benefit, enjoy, and contribute to saving the world. Everyone in this exhibition can put an end to poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and reform climate change. The exhibition restores hope for the Sustainable Development Goals, where wyas of saving the world will be displayed in an interactive and educational way.


Objectives:
1. Integrate art into the various parts of our lives.
2. Raise awareness to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Nasser bin Hamad International Creativity Award Ceremony

This program is one of HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa's initiatives to encourage young people to innovate in six areas (architectural design, graphic design, photography, film production, scientific creativity, painting and design). The aim is to encourage youth to participate in the change process through multiple creative mediums

1. Encourage young people to be innovative.
2. Stimulate the spirit of honest competition among young people.
3. Promote entrepreneurship for the common good.


Love Local Market

100 Mentors

Brief:
100 Mentors program launched by Emirates Youth Council aims to build national and international heroes across all fields by establishing direct channels with mentors. 100 Mentors program will take place for the first time in Bahrain in collaboration with both Emirates Youth Council and Ministry of Youth and Sports Bahrain to bring about a local hero that will speak to the international crowd about important action for global change.


Objectives:
The program will enhance the participants view of what is being done on a local level from a local hero to help bring about change on a global level through the Sustainable Development Goals.

Brief:
It is a chance for those interested in photography to meet and share their passion, and to share photos on social media about their visit. It will be held in collaboration with photographers from @FotoBH, an initiative to publish images of daily life in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and will cover a range of goals. Winners of the largest number of interactions will win a series of awards.


Objectives:
1. To define the Sustainable Development Goals in a technical way.
2. Increased awareness of the importance of Sustainable Development Goals.
